Location
Palazzo San Lorenzo is in via Gracco del Secco 113 in Colle Val d’Elsa, at the gates of Chianti and along the road from Florence to Siena. It is located in the upper and most interesting part of the town – Colle Alta, the center that preserves the typical features of the medieval villages – just a few steps from the San Pietro museum complex and the bastions of Porta Nuova, one of the medieval gates. It’s only a 10-minute walk to get to the Cathedral of Colle Val d’Elsa and to the Archaeological Museum, a 15-minute walk to the Museum of Crystal and the lower city.
