Relais della Rovere is the ideal place from which to start visiting the beauties of the Tuscan countryside. From Colle Val d'Elsa you can reach in 15 minutes both San Gimignano, the city of towers, and Monteriggioni, the medieval village in the shape of a crown, a place of history and art still intact.
Not to be missed, half an hour by car, the medieval village of Volterra: the city of the first round arch ever built.
It will be very quick to arrive in the famous art cities of Siena (20 minutes) and Florence (40 minutes) thanks to the entrance of the highway near the Relais.
The strategic position of the Relais della Rovere makes it easy to reach the famous wine area of Chianti Classico and the sweet golden hills of Val d'Orcia, visiting Pienza and Montalcino in about an hour's drive.
In an hour and half it is possible to arrive in the Tuscan seaside: a visit to the famous village of Bolgheri is a must.
