Tuscan cooking lesson (1 day)
With its conversion in hotel Palazzo Leopoldo found again its roots connected to the hospitality it offered just in 1350 under form of "Hospitale"; the function of the "Hospitale" was to make less "uneasy" traveling for pilgrims and merchants and it included also to give meals.

Being inspired by its tradition "PALAZZO LEOPOLDO" started, in 2003, a course of classic "chiantigiane-florentine" cuisine. Palazzo Leopoldo offers the opportunity to their guests to take cooking lessons in the old kitchen of the premise. The courses are held by three ladies: Rosanna, Valentina and Anita. Valentina and Anita are sisters and grew up and later worked together in their family’s restaurant which is quite well known in the area and also one of the first restaurants in Chianti to welcome tourists arriving in the early seventies to discover the treasures of this beautiful part of the world. Valentina and Anita learned the secrets of how to cook in a simple and very tasty way from their great-aunt, Carla. Rosanna has a real passion for food and cooking and enjoys sharing her passion with others. Valentina, Anita and Rosanna speaks English.
The course introduce you to the Chianti kitchen that with its simplicity can give unforgettable intense and pure flavours. The lesson starts at 5.00 pm and it takes 4/5 hours.. The guests with Valentina, Rosanna and Anita prepare the arranged recipes and the cooked dishes will be eaten during the dinner with a good wine. At the end of the lesson the guest receive a recipes book where they can find the prepared ones.
Tuscan cooking lesson (3 days)
For giving to its guests the possibility to discover the secrets of the Tuscan kitchen, Palazzo Leopoldo organize a three-days cooking course. Every day they prepare one of the courses that are in the typical Tuscan menu: at the first day the guests learn how to cook the home-made pasta and the sauces; the second day is dedicated to the preparation of the meat dishes with fresh vegetables; the third day, finally, the desserts!
The course is taken in the ancient original kitchen of Palazzo Leopoldo and hald by Valentina, Rosanna and Anita. The course is a three days one. It starts at 5.00 pm and it takes 4/5 hours. The guests with Valentina, Rosanna and Anita prepare the arranged recipes and the cooked dishes will be eaten during the dinner with a good Chainti Classico wine and delicious Vin Santo dessert wine. At the end of the lesson the guest receive a recipes book where they can find the prepared ones.
